I came across this book at a tag sale... The Friendship Covenant (How To Be Best Friends for Life) by Connie Dianne Walters. A book that is the closest thing to a Friendship Owner's Manual if there ever was one. It is written with common sense and humor. 45 principles celebrating the bonds, joys, challenges, admonitions and spiritual journey of friendships. Now don't let that number scare you - each principle is detailed in about one and half pages each. It is a book to read, re-read, share, learn from and keep as a reference guide - just like your other owner's manuals - well, then again maybe you should put this book in a safer more accessible place then the refrigerator or stove manual!1/2 cup butter
2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup mashed sweet potatoes
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 large eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons confectioner's sugar
Preheat oven to 300. Grease a 9 x 9 inch baking panIn a large bowl, cream together butter with sugar. Add sweetpotatoes, vanilla and eggs, mix well. Stir in flour and cinnamon, mixwell. Pour into prepared pan.Bake for 1 hour or when knife inserted into brownies comes out clean.Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar. Remove and let cool in pan 5minutes; then transfer to cool completely on a wire rack.
